I've been trying out these 2 programs and so far like both of them.

Seonote- Very similar to treepad and keynote and will import keynote
files. It will store in .txt, rtf, and html. You can run it from usb
stick. It works on windows 95 and up.

wirenote http://www.wiredplane.com/en/commons/freeware.php

This program was created to help in organization of daily work with such
features as ToDo/Reminders and sticky notes service along with address
book and LAN messenger. With WireNote, you can quickly create Sticky
Notes and ToDos from the tray icon, the main window, or a hotkey. You
can prioritize ToDos, and log and analyze the time spent on each with
the ToDo report feature.

Seonote is a nice application, but it is _slow_ compared to KeyNote,
TreePad and NeoMem.

TreePad is small, extremely fast and a very nice app.

NeoMem is a larger (approx. 1.7 MB), but is no-install and has amazing
capabilities for this type of program. Its weakest point IMHO is file
import/export. http://www.neomem.org

Haven´t tried it and probably won´t. I´d like to see some screenshots
which the homepage doesn´t show.
