I have an Isearch toolbar that seems to have attached
itself to my PC...

Per someone else's suggestion, I deleted the HOST file,
there were a few that showed up like LMHOSTS.sa, hosts,
lmhosts, Hosts.sbs.sig and Hosts (a Spybot file), which I
have now downloaded and run. I deleted all the HOST files
except for hosts and lmhosts and this didn't fix the
problem.

I now also seem to be unable to run Microsoft Outlook. I
get the following error when I launch
Outlook: "AN OLE registration error occurred. The Program
in not correctly installed. Run Setup again
for this program." I ahve unistalled Plaxo, which I had
installed earlier this AM and the problem
was still not fixed.

If you have any other suggestions, I would greatly
appreciate the help.

Thanks

Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ can remove ISearch.

Afterwards,to fix the toolbars http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/IEFAQ.htm
Scroll down to "32 Toolbars are locked - Unable to customize toolbar and
tool band"

Visit: Dealing with Unwanted Spyware and Parasites:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
and
Security Issues for Windows and IE:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/security.htm
for security tips and other useful information.

Take care of ISearch then post the Outlook problem to an Outlook newsgroup.
