Solitaire Missing

Aurora

I am using Windows XP with 2003 MS programs.
I don't know if I am in the right area to ask this question, but if not,
please direct me to the proper area.

When I go to my program file for games, the regular solitaire game is
missing from the listing of the games. I don't know what happened to it. I
played the game in December and then went on vacation for 2 weeks. I have
just returned and can not find the game in the programs file under games.
Where should I be looking to find this game? Once I find it how do I get
back into the list of games?

I hope someone can help me - I use this game as a mind relaxer during my
lunch hour.

Could solitaire have been removed in connection with your employer's IT
use policy? Even during lunch hour it's their computer. IF the IT
department is reasonably competent you may not be able to re enable
solitaire.

Otherwise use the Windows search function to locate the sol.exe file,
right click on the file and click the context menu option to create a
shortcut. If the sol.exe file is missing you may need to use the "Add
and remove programs" applet in the Windows control panel to add
solitaire to the Windows options. Note that IF your Windows OS log in
account has limited privileges you might not be able to re enable solitaire.
