You could try editing the card (which are fixed size bitmaps) in Cards.dll and move your edited version and sol.exe to a new directory. Use http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/ to edit the cards. Who knows what will happen, just depends on how sol is coded.
I bought my parents a 17" flat screen and thats what I want them to stop
doing. I want to have monitor at it's native resolution (1280x1024) and up
the DPI, font size etc. The currently use 800x600 which is quite blurry
(which the complain about as well), but mum only plays soliaire on it anyway
