SOHO DNS Issues

Home Network:
+ Linksys WRT310N Router
+ Desktop 1: Windows XP MC Edition - Wired
+ Desktop 2: Windows XP Home - Wireless
+ Notebook 1: Windows XP Home - Wireless
+ Nintendo Wii - Wireless (Just added yesterday)

Problem: Desktop 1 (wired) cannot access web/email via hostnames. I can plug
in IP addresses and access websites, but will not resolve DNS.

Troubleshooting performed:
1. Shutdown modem, router, desktop 1 - booted modem, router, desktop (in
that order) - this worked a couple of times, but now fails.
2. disabled Symantec Firewall
3. flushed DNS, rebooted (then flushedDNS and registeredDNS, rebooted)
4. Complete shutdown of desktop 1, reboot to safe mode

Everything has failed.

The only thing I've changed recently is the addition of the Wii to the
wireless network. I've searched for similar problems with the Wii but haven't
found anything yet.

I know this is probably something very simple that I'm overlooking.

Anyone have any ideas?

When every thing else works try to set the "Bad" computer DNS manually
to IP 4.2.2.2

Posting the results of ipconfig /all and nslookup here may help.

Additional troubleshooting performed:

1. Bypassed router and connected wired Desktop directly to MODEM -
Succeessful. Rewired back to normal, failed to access web, email,
etc.

2. Router: Swapped ports, negative results
3. Router: Placed desktop in DMZ - successful

You may check if there is a new firmware for the router.

I just flashed the firmware about a month ago. Should still be good.
