In installed a copy of HyperTerminal on my WinXP pro system. It didn't
work as expected, so after a lot of headaches, I uninstalled it. After
the performance of the software, it came as no surprise that the uninstall
didn't work properly, either. I've done everything I can think of, but
a HyperTerminal window continues to open every time I fire up WinXP.

Does anybody know what to do? Thanks for anything you can tell me.

Have you tried System Restore back to a date before the installation?

Have you deleted the connection in your control
panel\network connections? Hyperterminal is always
available from your start\all
programs\accessories\communications. It is part of the XP
program. Keep smiling.

Thanks. Did that. Fixed the problem.
