hi, i wondered does anyone know about registering their
software? i got an online message that said if i didn't
do something after 50 attempts to open the program, the
program would self destruct. i bought my XP and Office
through my university bookstore. anyone?

Registration is *NOT* necessary. What you refer to is *activation* which is
or, after 50 uses, the applications will revert to read-only mode.
