RFA (registry first aid)

Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

I bought a program called RFA (registry first aid) I've had it on my
PC for about 2 years and no problems, what so ever. Just recently I
have found that when I open the program it closes all by its self
almost immediately.

I have also found that if I go to the RFA website and try to download
the program again, the webpage is closed all by its self, almost
immediately.

And if I try to uninstall RFA this is also closed, all by its self,
almost immediately.

Today I tried to access my old downloaded copy of the install exe
file, as I thought this might carry out a repair, but on opening the
folder called registry, it too is closed, all by its self, almost
immediately.

So there is something on my computer, which I'm unaware of, that is
closing windows, programs and applications if they have the word
'registry' in them.

I have Norton and have turned it off and tried it, and all are still
turned off. But have managed to run the program in safe mode.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Try RegEdit to test ur hypothesis.

I would suspect malware- run several Avs, Spyware, Adware apps.

Last trojan I had would open a blue-screen occasionally.

Any advice is my attempt to contribute more than I have received but I can only assure you that it works on my PC. GOOD LUCK.
