Software not installing into user profile:
1.) Installed software using local admin acct.
2.) Copied program shortcut into the "All Users" desktop
profile, logged off admin.
3.) Non-admin User logs in and double clicks the new
Shortcut, the program starts, initiates another install
for that user's profile, and then the install stops.
(Assuming a permissions issue)

How do I get the program to install properly within the
user profile w/ out having to giving the user rights for
software installation?

With msi, jsut copying the shortcut does not make the application available
to the user. Eiter it has to be installed specifically for that user or it
should be installed for all users. To install for all users, run the
installation as
msiexec /i Package.msi ALLUSERS=1
