software moviemaker

how can i get the original software from windows movie maker, so that i can
replace the old one that was installed on my pc, which is by the way full of
errors (no voice recording possible, no saving in wmv, the excuse is that he
can't find original files...)

If you are running WMM2.1 it is only available with SP2. You can install SP2
over itself from this link:

Sometimes reinstalling over itself doesn't work though FYI but it is always
better to try it first.
