I am using a computer running XP SP2 and it was given to me by my school. As
a result, my computer's static (default) install directory is on the school
server. This means, when I attempt to install anything, the installshield has
an error and shuts down, because it cannot find that location. How can I
change my default install directory?

How do I change Window's default install directory?
