software conflick with Wimdows installer

I am trying to load software and it gives me a error that
the manfacture of the software said it is a Windows
installer conflick and is currupted this one file on the
disk.
 
Well I don't understand what they expect you to do. Windows Installer technology is in ALL the lastest Windows Operating systems and that is not going to change anytime soon. It would be more truthful to say, "our application conflicts with the Windows Installer technology and we aim to fix it."
