Hi

I'm need to talk to various serial devices on the LAN from Access, and I
have the luxury of choosing to speak either thru the ethernet or thru virtual
serial ports.

I'm wondering if anyone has had enough experince of both to be able to help
decide which path to take for one who hasn't used either.

Serial/Ethernet/back-to-serial seems a little backward, but who knows.

I've only got as far as sticking a Winsock and a NetComm ActiveX control on
a form!

Thanks for any thought you may give this.

Ali
