So I told XP to remove my hard drive..

I told XP to remove my hard drve (I was trying to unlock
a stuck CD-RW drive). Now if I restart I will be without
wondows or a hard drive.

I was thinking of restarting in safe mode or pulling the
plug so windows did not go through usual shut down
routine. Any ideas?

XP will reinstall the hard drive since you haven't physically disconnected
it from the PC.
