smartphone and .NET CF

Greetings

it is possible to write .net cf applications for the smartphone? If so,
what do I need? I ask this because I have VS.NET 2003 installed and I'm
only ablke to write .net cf applications for Pocket PC?

You can target Smartphone (2003 only, older Smartphone 2002 devices do not
support the Compact Framework). You'll need to install the Smartphone 2003
SDK which will plug into Visual Studio 2003, and add additional targets to
the Smart Device Application new project wizard and a customised designer
experience.
