Do you have an up to date antivirus program installed? If not install one,
update it and then run a full scan of your computer.

You have a rogue antimalware program installed on your computer. The people
who are behind this can make upwards of $80,000 per day because so many
users buy the crap. Buying it only adds MORE crap on your computer plus now
they have your credit card number and any other information you had to
supply to purchase the garbage.

Try using MalwareBytes Anti Malware (FREE version) from
http://www.malwarebytes.org/. It is good at removing this kind of garbage.

If you still have problems get back to us.

I do have malware and ran it yesterday with no viruses. I have mcafee anti virus. I run that and when the scan finishes, it will not complete cleaning in process. It just stops ar a point and doesn't continue.

You are saying that you ran the program called "MalwareBytes Anti Malware"
and that it found no problems? Did you run a full scan or a quick scan? A
full scan may take a couple of hours, depending on the amount of files on
your computer.

YES, I did run the full scan and nothing appeared. How do I update McAfee?

I updated and ran a full scan and no infected items and it is still there.
Any other solutions?

Try booting into safe mode and then running Malwarebytes.

Bleepingcomputer is a good site. You won't fix your problem by going to
the site, but they have instructions and a download that will help you
out of this.

I did and rebooted but it is still there. Can I use the link at the bottom? I am afraid at this point to go to strange websites. I have read that it is difficult to get rid of this on websites.

I have doen all of these things and still have it. I also can not shut down
my computer - it reboots when I shut it down and have to manually shut it
down.

Maybe we can at least stop it loading at boot up.
Autoruns from Sysinternals will show you what is being loaded when Windows starts.
Download it from here:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

It doesn't need installing, just unzip and run the autoruns.exe file from the folder.
Right-click and run as Administrator.
Agree to the license and it will scan your computer listing everything, including loads of Microsoft entries.
Click on Options and select ' Hide Microsoft and Windows Entries '.
Click on the green arrows icon to refresh the list.
Now look down the list and see if you can recognise anything relating to Smart Defender Pro .
Clear the box to disable or right-click to delete any entries.

Good luck.
