smart tags

How do you turn off the embedded linquistic and embeded smart tag permanently?
I have disabled all of them but the two smart tags in the tools/options/save
keep turning themselves back on once I have closed and reopened word in
office 2003 in Xp Pro. Thanks

As far as I know, there is no way to turn these off, short of using a macro to
change the setting (make sure they're off before saving a document, for
example).
