'small' text, mouse scroll button problem related?

Yesterday while I was looking at a web page and using the scroll wheel on my
Microsoft optical mouse, all of a sudden the web page text would enlarge or
decrease with each turn of the scroll wheel and the page would no longer
scroll up and down. I couldn't figure out what happened but disconnecting
and reconnecting the mouse fixed the problem. Sort of.

Today, all the webpages I look at seem to have normally sized text. All
except the pages on the site I was looking at when the problem started. I
know the text isn't appearing correctly because it's my site! All the text
is too small and squished together.

Did I somehow change a setting in Windows or my browser when the mouse
scroll wheel started acting up? FYI, I'm running Windows 98.

Go to View > Text Size and change the text size.

This is normal behaviour Ctrl+Wheel will change text size up/down.
Maybe you were catching the Ctrl key. Just do as Warren says or do it how
you caused it.
