Small Fonts

I changed my screen resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768
now my fonts are tiny. I have changed the display
setting to larger fonts which helped a bit on the desktop
but the fonts in applications are still tiny. How can I
make them larger.

In many (but not all) applications, the easiest way to change the
font size is to hold down the CTRL key and scroll the mouse
wheel; one way makes the font bigger, the other way smaller.

In Display - Settings, click Advanced and change the DPI setting (number
of dots of image needed to be taken as corresponding to an inch). For a
larger resolution on the same monitor, you need to increase this so the
inch (and hence most fonts sizes defined in points - 1/72 inch) stays
the original size
