Small Business Printing Issue

I am an System Admin for a small college. I have
Windows 2000 server with approximately 25 XP
workstations. I have two printers. HP 5000 and HP 1300
with are connected to two different PC's. I have them
shared so others can print to. The problem lies in that
the computers that try and print to them after printing
lose the connection. I have to delete the printer and
re add the printer after each time that they print. Is
there a soloution to fix this so that the printers stay
connected?

XP Pro supports only 10 simultaneous connections.... therefore when the 11th
PC connects to the printer it's not going to work. Can you use a print
server or connect the printers to the 2000 Server?
