Small Buisness Network 2 cpu 1-xp pro 1-2k pro= Can't Get it to work

I am currently trying to set up two cpu's on small network
so that I am able to access the two printers installed on
the 2k computer. I am using a Netgrear router with a dsl
modem conected to it. Both IPs are set and I am able to
Ping each IP address from each computer, and each copmuter
has no problem accessing the web. When I try to see the two
computers in my network neighborhood I have no luck. Please
advise me if you have any Ideas!!

Any particular error messages? Do you have identical user accounts on each
machines? Same user name and password?

Are the IPs set by DHCP? Are either PCs using a firewall?
