Slowness copying data to W2K share

I am having problems copying data to a Win2K Advanced
server share from XP/NT clients. Performance is
significantly degraded when users attempt to do so. I
was able to work around the issue by logging into the
server and copying from the XP client to the 2K server,
but obviously my users cannot do this. Network is set to
100-Full all across the board. Almost sounds like an ACK
issue. Anyone have any thoughts?

Install SP4 on the Windows 2000 server and apply all critical updates to the server and client. This resolves a SMB signing
problem between XP clients and the Windows 2000 server.
