Hey I was wondering if anyone could tell me how important these are at startup

UpdRe
diagen
mmtas
DirectC
msmsgs

DirectCD is your packet-writing software for burning data to a CD which will
allow you to treat it like a floppy disk. MSMSGS is the Microsoft Messaging
Service. Neither of these is required by the XP operating system to run.
The other three I'm not sure of although I would guess that UpdReg is
associated with an application that requires updates. Use Google to find
out what these are and if you need them.
