Slow startup

I was only playing solitaire whenthe system had a windows failure with
something to do with USB . It said restart computer but would not go away so
I had toswich off. since then despite returing to last week in restore the
startup is takeing a long time. Please help it will drive me mad.

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type: SFC /SCANNOW
