Slow start question,PLEASE!

Hello world!

I recently have this strange issue...When I open OE6 in XP it appears and
then it takes about 30 sec for it to actually start responding ....

Same with Windows...my startup programs (like NAV) don't appear and Windows
sort of freezing for about 30 sec and then continue booting them.

In the past I installed few apps that added themselves to Startup and I
manually deleted their entries ,using msconfig.Interesting that even
uninstalled apps still have the entires in Startup in msconfig.

Any ideas?

If you have disabled Messenger, this is common behavior. This edit/script
corrects the issue:

Disable/Remove Windows Messenger

No comment on NAV.
