Slow shutdown

My system takes a very long time to shut down.
Will anything drastic happen if I turn the PC off while the blue screen is
still showing?

I have asked this twice before but got no response. Maybe I'm not the only
one who doesn't know.

It might or it might not. It is not possible to give a definite answer.
If your computer turns off automatically what's wrong with just walking
away?
