slow rght click

Whenever I right click on something, it takes about a minute for it to display a menu.
ie= right click to select copy or paste

Are you using McAfee anti-virus software? If so, there's a known issue with a slow right mouse button, with certain versions of their software. There is a registry hack that addresses this known issue, but I'd have to dig to find it.

Post back if you are indeed using McAfee...

I have a similar problem and I am not using McAfee.

Actualy, if I double-click any data (not .exe) file on the desktop (.txt, .xls, .xip, .anything that needs to start a program) it takes one minute for the file to open.

Any ideas?? thanks in advance (and sorry for invading the thread, but the problem seems similar)
