Slow Printing on secured DB

Hi folks,

I have setup a secured db, giving the general user read only priviledges.
The user can generate reports, but it takes forever!!! Any idea why this is?
Printing never took so long before securing the database.

I can't see that securing the db would, in & of itself, cause any
slowing-down of reports. I bet you made some other changes also!

Take a copy of the secured database, and desecure it. Then compare those
two - running them both in exactly the same environment (not on different
PCs, for example). I'll bet you'll find that the desecured version has the
same speed as the secured one.
