slow printer

printer will start fast, reach the middle of page, halt for 30 sec. and then
start again. It takes two minutes to print a page. How do I get it to move
faster?
 
Is this question related to Microsoft Access? If not, the manufacturer's
web site, or maybe a newsgroup about printers, would be a better place to
seek answers.
