slow performance

I have recently reinstalled my reload disc and added my XP
upgrade from ME. suddenly I can't run two programmes
without a problem ie downloading an mp3 file whilst trying
to listen to another one. My connection is 2mbps running
on a 1.3gig chip and 512 ram. any ideas???

Try remove and then reinstall the application.
