slow page loading

When I click on IE 6.0 SP1 it takes approx. 40 seconds
for a blank IE window to appear. Than it takes approx.
another 2 min. for the web page to appear. Also, if I
click on "My Computer" it takes appox. 1 min. for the
icons to appear.

If I use AOL or any other IP access for internet, it
flies.

What happend to my explorer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
