Slow Motion

Is movie maker capable of creating slow motion clips? I would like to drag out a 10 sec clip of my grandmother and incorporate a song.

Yes, MovieMaker 2.0 can do this. First of all if the Movie Tasks pane isn't
visible on the left hand side then click Tasks on the toolbar at the top.
Then under "Edit Movie" select View video effects. You then should see "Slow
Down, Half". Select that effect and drag it down to the clip in question on
the timeline or storyboard. (If you want to slow it down even further you
can drag the effect down a second time)

By the way, another way of doing this is by right clicking the clip on the
storyboard or timeline and selecting Video Effects from the popup menu.

Hey Dean,
Thank you very much for your reply. I am a very new user with MM2 and could not find anywhere how to slow the video down

My friend has a mac and showed me imovie. I went and purchased a sony vaio and did not like the sony programs that came with it. I seen it had MM2 and thought I would give it a shot. I am hoping it is as friendly and has a lot of the editing features that mac has. I have always been a PC user and did not want to switch

Thanks Again
T
