Slow login

An XP machine is logging in very slowly to the domain - 2-
3 mins - Win98 machine having no issues. Is there
something that is on by default that might cause this?

Thanks for any help on this.
 
What speed machine? Was the Win 98 installed on this
machine when it was faster to log in? Have you checked for
compatibility with the network card and XP?
