Slow Login FAQ?

Greetings everyone,

Some of my users have a very slow login process (about 20 minutes). I've
checked some of the obious things like the hardware, switch etc. but the
problem still remains. I've seen this problem frequently enough with various
answers. Does anyone know of a FAQ that list some possible causes and
solutions for slow logins?

Thanks in advance for any hints or tips.

Many different causes, including spy-ware, mal-ware, bloated remote
profiles, slow connections, mis-configuration, etc.
 
Yep,

Start swimming for the shore. The connection is 100 mbps. The
configuration looks good but it keeps popping up with multiple profiles
under Documents and Settings (UserName1, UserName2 etc.) I will try running
Spybot S&D on it though.
