slow internet

Can anyone help,
My internet connection is slow to respond.Web pages are taking an
eternity to load.Really cant figure out whets wrong.I ran all virus scans
and the system is clean.Also,when I try to get on to the updates page it
gets them but wont let me download.Help

What type of connection, broadband or dialup, are you connecting through a
router and/or firewall?

Slow response can simply mean the servers are overloaded or there's a lot of
traffic. Given the recent virus activity which has triggered a lot of
automated messages being sent to various servers, it is possible that this
is the issue and not much you can do on your end.
