Slow internet

I thought the spyware itself slowed the operating system
but this antispyware beats them all. Slows system and
hangs IE several times during a hour of online. Doing
tests this program dropped my Internet speed to around
72k from normal of 700k while XP home with cable
connection. This was only in spurts when the antispyware
program tried to check everything on the web page. Not to
mention the 3 times in 1 hour IE stopped responding on XP
Pro at my job. This program is beta and full of bugs.
They should give a year free to those who tested it for
the trouble they indure.

Trying to install on a 2000 OS it locked up gave erros
and would not ever load. Unistalled and reinstalled
antispy bewfore it would run. After that it caused 3
lockups of IE in 15 minutes of internet browsing.
Finally had to uninstall from 2000 completely.

One up is it cleaned several spyware that no other
program had that I tried.

Did you defrag your computer and do a disk clean up in safe mode. Also,
right click the taskbar > TaskManager > Processes. Check for any programs
that might be hogging resources.

Thanks for the attest that it works, at least! Performance issues are a
focus of this beta, and they are occurring for some users, but only a small
number--you seem to have been especially unlucky to have seen significant
issues on both machines you've tried it on.

Understand your frustration but I have successfully installed this product
on 3 Win2000 machines of which one machine is a PII-350 and I am not seeing
any slowness on my 2MB ADSL connections.
