OK for some reason my I.E. becomes very slow after using it for a bit, when
I visit a site "ebay" or "Job sites" where you tend to login or keep
refining your search my I.E. becomes very slow and will after a few minutes
give me the error "could not find page" this means that after a few minutes
I have to shut down IE and re-start it. When I use any other computer on my
home network everything works fine. Any ideas? I've already run three
different virus softwares / Spyware and Adware removers and system
optimizers. Doing a complete re-install isn't an option as it's to much work
to do on a laptop. THANKS for any ideas.

Try to empty your temp internet files and history and set
the max size for your temp internet files to 10Mb.
That usually does the trick.

Are you using Zone Alarm?
The new version of Zone Alarm sometimes causes this
problem according to advice I received on this help site.
I had same problem and uninstalled the new version
and replaced it with the old. My problem went away.

Sorry no Zone Alarm. I do have a fire wall called SystemSuite but I've
already turned everything off and tried that, still didn't work. Thanks for
the suggestion though.
