Hi All
When I open "My Computer" it takes a long time to show my drives and
folders. The system folder has the same problem but Disk Management does
not. Also on reboot XP(Pro) says it did not shut down correctly and wants
to know which start mode it should start in.
Any Ideas? All service packs and patches are up to date
TIA Bill

Try running chkdsk from a command prompt (this may help the problem with the
reboot).
