Slow explorer,seaching,believe I am virus/worm free

I had a worm w32/sdbot.worm.gen virus. I ran the Stinger virus check and it
picked it up right away and deleted it. My Norton anti virus never picked
it up and I keep that updated. But, the problem is the system is extremely
slow when opening explorer or preforming and searches. Email speed seems
fine(outlook express). Nothing new or different other than My system is
always completely updated with all the microsoft updates when they notify me
of them being avaliable. What else can I do or check for? Help!!

You have a lot of stuff running in the background. "Updreg.exe" may be
a reminder to register SoundBlaster Live. Ebates Moemoneymaker is
"parasiteware" that brings targeted ads to your computer. It may also
hijack the ads of other companies and replace them with its own ads.
AdAware should be able to remove this for you.

WeatherBug might slow down your computer some, but I doubt it would be
much. Running AdAware at boot up probably slows down you computer a
lot. I don't run AdAware unless I want to scan my system. Also,
running AdAware at boot-up may actually prevent it from removing some of
the spyware. Unless it doesn't detect MoeMoneMaker.
