slow dial-up

I know that dial-up is originally SLOW, but is there anything to speed it up
a bit? (besides upgrading to LAN or Broadband) PLEASE!

Wise suggestion : Go for broadband.
Its cheaper and faster than broadband UNLESS you have no other option left

That doesn't fix my dial-up problem.

I have not tested any of those tweaks as I have not really used dial up for
a while

Your dial up problem won't be fixed until you upgrade it to broadband.
