SLOW CPU Usage...help make it faster

That would be normal, provided it only persisted for a few seconds and
then dropped back to a very low level.

That depends on how much RAM you have and how many applications you
have open at that particular moment. I often see PF usage values in
the 300 mb plus range on my machine, while at other times it is less
than 200 mb.


1. Make certain your antivirus software is completely up to date with
the virus definitions not more than a week old and do a complete scan
of your hard drive. For a "second opinion" do a free online virus
scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com

2. Go to http://aumha.org/a/noads.htm and do the free online scan for
spyware on your machine. If anything suspicious is found follow the
clean-up procedure at http://www.aumha.org/a/quickfix.htm
