My cpu has been really slow lately. I looked at my dxdiag and under display,
it shows n/a for everything under devices except current display mode. Before
it showed my video card name, chip type, etc. I think this is the reason for
my cpu being slow. What should I do to get the video card name to show back
up and to make my cpu running fast again?

Go into Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager and uninstall your
Display Adapter. Reboot and let the system redetect it. If you don't have
the CD that came with the graphics card, try to download new drivers from the
maker's website before you do this, and put them on to a CD.

Under dxdiag it says the system is using the generic video driver. Please
install video driver provided by the hardware manufacturer.

right click my computer/manage/device manager and you will find your hardware
