slow computer and DSL connection

Suddenly it became so slow
Does anyone know what caused it and how to fix it?

By "slow" what do you mean? Have you scanned for Trojans, Hijackers,
Viruses and other Malware?

Some DSL providers have fixed download plans, thus when you hit your monthly maximum usage they allow you access but at a very slow rate

check for sasser or other virri, locally alot of machines were running
IE very poorly, and all were sympatico DSL, formating and new norton nav
2k4 prevented it from happening again
