slow browser?

I got some adware embedded in my internet explorer file (incredifind) and when i got it out i could not connect with the server for two days. I tried updating explorer but i already had the most recent update so that didnt work. Today I tried again and it just started working like normal except now it is very slow. My other browser is working like normal and so is every other internet application except this one. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
