I have a Canon i470D USB 2.0 printer attached to my computer
running Windows 2000.
When the printer power is off it takes much longer for windows 2000 to boot.
(it stalls about 2/3 of the way across the progress bar).
This printer has a built in compact flash reader which shows up under
my computer as drive E.
Perhaps windows is looking for drive E and it can't find it and eventually
times out?
Any suggestions? I'd rather not leave the printer on all the time.
