Slow Boot up

I installed SBC Yahoo software for accessing their DSL
internet. Since then, my computer takes over 5 minutes
to boot up. What has happened? thanks. Mike

Have you contact Yahoo's tech support either online or their 800#?

Obvious, the yahoo ware is the culprit. Ask for a refund.

Uninstall the Sbc Yhaoo. reboot.

reinstall, but int he first screen, UNCHECK the Yahoo 'enhancements'.

this will make your web browsing cleaner.

as for slow bootup, I don't think this the fault of that software.
but probably some spyware or trojan that you got immediately when you
connected.

you need to update the antivirus SW in your PC and do a full scan.

and get Ad-aware at http://www.lavasoftusa.com

spybot at http://tinyurl.com/btf8

and Start/Windows Update Scan for updates. Install all
Critical updates.
