Hi
After a "repair-reinstall" of XP-pro my PC boot slow (up to 4 minuts till I'm on my
disk).
It is like every step in the start-up is slowed down, even the 3 blue dots is
running around a lot longer than they used to do.
I have reinstalled all the updates including DirectX9b (AND removed Q811493 !).
Why does it boot so slow.

My PC: 2.2MHz, 512Mb RAM . . .

Hi!
1>start>Run>msconfig>startup tab>disable unnecessary
programs i.e. those which you don't want in start up.
2>Install Bootvis.exe, which is temporarily unavailable in
the web.
