I'm not really sure, but I think that one that you want is called vLite - it's the same as nLite, but its made for Vista.

Hi Madx,

No problem mate.

I have downloaded Vlite and it says that it needs WLM Filter so be able to mount an image. I went to Microsofts website to download this add on but its saying that its going to take 4 hours to download.

This is what it needs

I take it there is no way around this?

Thanks,

Hi Madx,

Got it downloaded now, just in the process of integrating SP1. I have also got it to turn off UAC by default on a clean install. I found UAC most annoying.

Well it finshed and I pressed end, and then the program closed. I am unable to find the ISO file anywhere. Any ideas on how to find it?

Thanks,

Wiz

Hi,

As far as I can remeber it did not ask for a name. It said finsh so I clicked on that. Then the program closed, I have tired looking for ISO files and Vista ISOS but I cant seem to fine any, I also looked in the temp folder where it was storing it and there is nothing in there either? Do I need to recreate another one?

Thanks,

Wiz

Hi Madx,

Thanks for your help.

I will look into this again tonight. Would you say its best to create the ISO file again? As I cant find it anywhere on the system.

Edit. You won't believe what it was, I did not click on make a bootable ISO, lol. Its all going fine now, just created the ISO on DVD.

Thanks,

Wiz
