!I tried to install XP from CD on a Wiped Compaq C504US laptop , during
Install it asks for F6 so I put it on a Thumb drive, tried again ,it WILL NOT
recognize the Thumb drive, I have been told to get a USB floppy ,however I am
Disabled and can't afford one. Any help specific to this POS laptop? I have
nLite ,but haven't tried it yet. Neurologic symptoms make following all the
steps difficult. I have already called Cpmpaq Support ,and their method uses
a USB floppy ,My Local PC store WILL NOT loan me one, regardless of ALL thE $
i have already spent there! I did have succes with Installing Windows 7 RC on
this laptop ,However I and my Friend who owns the Laptop STILL prefer XP.
HELP!!???

Have your friend do the nLite to integrate the driver and/or purchase a USB
floppy diskette drive.

If you have nlite use it, you cannot provide F6 drivers for XP using any
media other than a floppy.

You use the RyanVM Integrator to slipstream updates and addons then you use
DriverPacks http://forum.driverpacks.net/ to add all kind sof drivers then
you make an ISO file and burn a new CD then you boot from this CD and do a
repair install.
