i have a strange problem I have created a slide deck with lots of graphics in
png format. ( I used insert pic) to add each or multiples to the individual
slides.I have very few custom animations. When I do slide show I have no
problem but when subsequently go to the slide to make a change or add its
like an earthquake - the whole screen (menus, slide etc) shakes and nothing
is accessbile in powerpoint (cursor wont move). There is no animation in
master, no transition between slides etc. Version is Off 2003 XPpro svc pack
2 - I had this happen before and never got a resolve... its very annoying
because with 76 slides in a deck it takes forever to stop - i tried splitting
the deck but it didnt help, so please can someone help

This sounds like a screen redraw gone wild. <g>

I'd try the suggestions in the thread just above this -- update your video
driver and change hardware acceleration.

I'd also make sure to install SP-1 for Office 2003. You can go to Help/Check
for Updates to get it.

Oh, and make sure your images aren't totally oversized for use in PPT.
